How to use it

Pick a preset or type the time you need, then press Start. When the countdown ends you will hear an alarm and the tab title will show that time is up. The countdown is based on the system clock, so it stays accurate even when the tab is in the background.

Handy timer lengths

25 minutes: a focus block in the Pomodoro technique
3–5 minutes: soft-boiled egg or a tea steep
10 minutes: a quick break or a short presentation slot
60 minutes: a lesson or a deep-work session

FAQ

Will the alarm sound if the tab is hidden?

Usually yes, but some browsers limit background audio. Keep the tab open, and check that your volume is on.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, yes. Nothing is sent to a server.
